This blog started off as one thing (see original “About” below). Now it’s something different. My 10 year old son died on July 17, 2018. Now the quiet parts I’m saying out loud are about my journey through grief, the land I never, ever wanted to visit.

It’s all personal opinion. I have to source stuff for work, so not going to do it here, unless I feel like it. Besides, it’s just my perspective. Also, just because it’s how I feel, doesn’t mean I belittle your opinion or lived experience…unless I do.
I use words to make people do things they don’t want to for a living. I like accessories, food, travel, books, writing, cooking and lots of other stuff, but most people think of me as a mom.
